I was busy surfing the net last night when a friend buzzed me in YM.
"san ba maganda mag download ng songs"I was like "is that how you say hello after a long time of not seeing each other?"
Carlo was a friend. A very special friend whom I fell in love with for the past year. Yes, I was following and patiently waiting for him for one whole year. It all ended up with nothing but fortunately, it didn't make me feel bitter. It gave me additional lessons to learn though. He was somebody I used to spend my time (and perhaps money na rin) because I thought in someway or another he'd at least like to give his heart a try with me. Carlo was hesitant to be in a relationship with me because I know, no matter how he denies it, he still has issues with his past which I didn't really have any issues with. So I just understood him in all his rants. Though I wasn't really the guy he'd run to when he stumbles upon major problems, we were really good friends during those times. We used to go out and eat somewhere, we watch movies together almost every weekend and we always have lunch together right after work, just before we go home.
"download mo dito"I replied. And the conversation went on. He enjoyed all the songs I recommended him to download. He was at McDo, enjoying the free wifi along with the meal he ordered. I seemed like a hit chart to him, providing with the latest music I apparently am familiar with.
"lam mo na realize ko... ur such a big BLESSING TO ME TALAGA"I didn't feel anything strange though. Perhaps my heart was right, I was already over him.
"ngayon mo lang narealize yan?"I rememebered the last time this kind of scenario happened. It was like 3 years ago when he (another guy named Tony) told me he needed me just a few weeks after he broke up with his ex. And as I was reading what Carlo told me, I thought "not again..." It seems that these guys always realize my worth when they've already let me pass. It took me quite awhile to send him a reply. Thank God I love music.
"well, as they say "you don't know what you've got til it's gone"...
He then changed topics.
By the way, Carlo is now in Manila. We haven't seen each other for a long time and I just got surprised that he had to leave the city because of work. Fortunately, we still remain good friends, and yes, definitely YES, I am so over him. :)
xoxo
Much Love
